Flat mats are still a very popular choice for mobile anglers as they offer a more compact pack down size and a weight saving over a cradle type mat. The Defender Flat Fold Mat offers great fish protection with its large size, 50 mm foam mattress and Velcro-down safety flap, yet folds down to an easily transportable size. It even has Velcro attachments for connection to the front or side rails of a barrow.
